Children In Need 2021

Thank you to all our families for helping to raise a fantastic £98.00 for Children in Need. Children dressed up in themed outfits and we sold wrist bands and head bands leading up to the day. We had a great day with lots of Pudsey themed activities including face painting, colouring, Simon Says and pretend cake sale. 18/11/2021

Back in July, we had a Readathon Challenge for 2 weeks. Sponsor money was raised from donations from relatives, neighbours and friends for the reading children completed.

We wanted to say a massive THANK YOU to everyone who sponsored our children and helped raise a fantastic £305.

This amount has enabled us to purchase a brilliant new bookcase for the story corner to allow children to pick and choose the books they would like to look at and read. 17/10/21

Statement from the new EYFS (2021)

"Reading frequently to children, and engaging them actively in stories, non-fiction, rhymes and poems, and then providing them with extensive opportunities to use and embed new words in a range of contexts, will give children the opportunity to thrive."
