Manager
Loretta Dellaway
I hold a CACHE NNEB Diploma in Nursery Nursing and have been working in Early Years for 24 years in both schools and private day nurseries. I am also the DSL for Little Acorns. I have 3 children of my own aged 24, 20 and 13. I love animals and have 5 cats, some of whom I have adopted from Foal farm.
I enjoy teaching the children about nature and all things science in Science club on a Monday, especially encouraging them to care for the natural world around us. I love to watch the children grow and gain confidence as we nurture them during their time at preschool.

Deputy Manager
Lisa Sheehy
I hold a level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Young people’s workforce and have previously worked in a school supporting older children with disabilities but my heart has always been in working with pre-school children. Within Little Acorns I am the SENCO Lead & Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead DSL.
I have two children of my own, both of whom have attended Little Acorns. I find children fascinating and love watching them learn through play. I love my job and find it really rewarding!

Office Manager & Preschool Chair
Katie Bath
I am the preschool Chair person and Office Manager and point of contact. I have worked at Little Acorns for over 14 years both with the children and behind the scenes. I hold an NVQ level 3 qualification and am a trained Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead DDSL.
I have worked in Early Years and primary schools with children aged from 2 - 8 years since 2004 and have enjoyed every single day.

Jen Creed
I joined Little Acorns as a practitioner in February 2017 and have two children of my own who both spent their pre school years at Little Acorns.
I have a Diploma Level 3 in Early Learning and Childcare and have worked with children in a childcare setting since 2010. I am trained as a Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead DDSL and also work in the office supporting the office manager.
I especially enjoy having fun with the children in creative and physical play, as well as individual one to one work. It's lovely to see them progress into 'little' individuals ready for their transition into big school.

Level 3 Practitioner
Terri Ford
I hold a Level 3 NVQ in Childcare and Education and am the Deputy SENCO at Little Acorns.
I love working with children and find the job very rewarding. I really enjoy seeing the children grow and develop their own personalities and flourish.
I especially enjoy cooking with the children at our cooking club on Fridays and lots of outside activities.
I have 2 daughters both of whom enjoyed attending Little Acorns.

Dawn Ilott
I joined the Little Acorns team in 2016. I have 2 children of my own, who both enjoyed attending Little Acorns.
I am the preschools Sustainability Lead.
I particularly enjoy creative activities with the children, reading books and creating sensory activities for them to explore.

Maxine Bruckner
I joined our team in 2021 and hold a Level 3 Childcare qualification.
​I lead Little Acorns Art Club on Tuesday mornings and love getting creative with the children.
​I thoroughly enjoy everything about Early Years, supporting our children and working with our Little Acorns families.

Kim Gibbs
I started working at Little Acorns in 2015 going on to study for my Level 3 EYE Diploma.
I have been a part of Little Acorns since 2010 when my eldest daughter started, followed by my youngest daughter in 2014, both loved their time at Little Acorns.
I love playing games, reading and singing with the children.

Sam Atkins
I joined Little Acorns in 2024 and a mum to three children of my own. I enjoy going for walks and taking care of my family. Having just started my journey in an early years setting, I am excited to learn new skills as well as nurture young minds and help them to grow.
I am currently studying for my Level 2 qualification.
