Little Acorns accepts all forms of Government Funding for children aged 2 - 4 years.
Funded hours can be used in all our sessions.
Your free entitlement hours, 15 or 30 hours, will be applied over continuous sessions.
Any hours exceeding your full entitlement will be charged as stated in our fees below.

Consumables Charge - £1.50 per day
Our "consumables charge" covers costs beyond the government's funded hours, such as nappies, wipes, sun cream, and additional activities. The monies also go towards extra curricular activities, enhancing every childs learning experience.
What it covers

Pre-school costs like nappy bags, wipes, sun cream, special crafts, activities, outside visits and visitors, parties and celebrations that are not included in the basic funded hours.

How it is charged

Charges are applied for each day attended, £1.50 per day.

This is invoiced half termly.
The Consumables Charge is voluntary. If you do not wish to pay the consumables charge you will need to sign an agreement to this effect. Please make us aware so next steps can be discussed. You will also need to provide a daily snack for your child.
Fees
Fees are charged for any sessions/hours attended exceeding funded hours or for families not in receipt of funded hours.
Our fees are reviewed annually in September.
Fees are not reimbursable for sickness or holidays.
Fees from September 2026
Morning sessions (Monday-Friday 8:30am-12pm)
2 year old £25.50
3+ year old £22.00
Lunch Club add on (Monday - Friday 12pm-1pm)
2 year old £8.00
3+ year old £7.00
Afternoon sessions (Monday-Thursday 12pm-3:20pm)
2 year old £23.50
3+ year old £21.00
Ad hoc sessions - £30 per session
Example:
If you receive 15 hours funding and your child attends all day Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, this would total 20 hours and 30 minutes per week.
After your funded hours, you would be invoiced for the remaining 5 hours 30 minutes per week for the half term.
